Christmas is approaching and I have once again got caught up in xmas and forgot the Christ in Christmas....why is it so hard to remember?

No longer just Tres....

There is a new Filiberto in town :)

We named him Atticus after the character "Atticus Finch" in "To Kill a Mockingbird"... the name means ethical, which I love. He is an amazing baby and so different from his big sister. I was trying to explain to my little sister Hannah (who is now pregnant herself) that Madeline needed me for things like feeding her, changing her... just the basic baby stuff.. but she didnt seem attached to me or that she "needed" me... I feel like Atticus is more attatched to me like he needs my love and doesnt care about anything else. I am typing this now with him sleeping peacefully in my arms.... looking adorable.

A good friend of mine came down to the country and took some pictures of him...actually she took like 180 pictures of him... I can't wait to see them. Well I pretty much don't get more than a few hours of sleep a night and right now it is storming outside something fierce... I can hear my bed calling my name and I love the thought of being lulled to sleep by the rain and wind. Hope you have a blessed holiday season!!!

Okay so that picture is not by me for starters, I found it on flickr. It is a picture of a doll that I want SO bad... they look just like Madeline and I just love their cute lil faces.... this is what I am asking for for my birthday!

8 months now

I can't believe how big she is getting. She is now a force to be reckoned with, an unstoppable little thing. We have moved in with Michaels older sister, her husband and two little boys. It is going really well, we are finally living within normal hours of operation. Thats Hayes playing with Madeline in the top picture. He is just a few weeks younger than Maddie.

Things are busy and I need a haircut...bad.... I know that was random but that was the first thing I thought about. Maddie is almost 4 months old, she is getting so big and has such a personality. Her new favorite thing is screaming.... she loves to just smile and scream really loud. I will be deaf soon. She is doing great in daycare, they love her and seem to dislike when she gets picked up. I have had a few times where I thought I might lose my mind. I think it is because of the screaming

I am very excited to be going to New York soon to see Michael's family and to stay in Manhattan for a few days. I just love it up there. Hopefully I will blog again sooner.

3 months old and growing

I can not believe that my little Munchy munch is already 3 months old, she is actually past that by almost two weeks (I am so behind in my blogging).  Michael and I are going to be taking her to NYC to visit his family and I am pretty nervous about the plane ride.  I have heard so many horror stories.  Maddie and I are hanging out while Michael is at work, we were working on some “tummy time” but she was not really excited about it.  I hope to get a video I made of it up soon.

I went to the park a few days ago with my family. The weather was amazing and all of the colors seemed vivid. I snapped this photo of my sisters and Travis ( he is the older ones finace) and iIabsolutely love it.
